Is your refrigeration system in need of repair?
Stay comfortable and save money with our energy-efficient solutions.
Our company was established in 1987 by our founder and CEO, Vaughn Murphie, who began in design, sales and service of refrigeration and heating systems in 1977.
We have a simple policy and philosophy here at Northwest Refrigeration; “We take care of our clients.” We seek to do the best we can, because we have ambitious standards and believe in being exceptional in all that we do.
All new installations come with at least a one-year parts and labor warranty. Any service repairs we make are guaranteed for a full 30 days.
Take comfort when it comes to geothermal heating & cooling; we are experienced, and factory trained. We aim to meet our standards in performance, experience and dedication, installation quality, technical training, and business practices.
We also know that our customers’ needs come first. We will not try to sell you something you do not need or cut any corners that would prove expensive or harmful in the future
Geothermal systems are by far the most energy efficient HVAC systems. They use the consistent temperature of the earth's surface to heat and cool your home, rather than propane or fuel oil. In particular, an open loop geothermal system is one of the most efficient heating and cooling systems.
Geothermal Heat Pumps are self-contained units that efficiently heat and cool homes and commercial buildings while providing hot water. They use standard electronic thermostats and duct systems, making them appropriate for retrofits of standard heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Geothermal Heat Pumps can be sized to heat and cool any building in any climate. Geothermal Heat Pumps quietly and reliably harness the renewable energy generated by the Sun that is stored in the
Unlike solar thermal systems, photovoltaic systems do not have a heat fluid circuit. Here, power cables transport the energy from the solar module to the hot water storage tank. PV system owners need neither pipes nor pumps for this. So they don't have to worry about antifreeze or maintenance costs either.
Heat pumps offer an energy-efficient alternative to furnaces and air conditioners for all climates. Like your refrigerator, heat pumps use electricity to transfer heat from a cool space to a warm space, making the cool space cooler and the warm space warmer. During the heating season, heat pumps move heat from the cool outdoors into your warm house. During the cooling season, heat pumps move heat from your house into the outdoors. Because they transfer heat rather than generate heat, heat pump
Having an efficient heating system can offer great appeal to homeowners interested in having the most recent technology available, while potentially reducing energy costs and environmental impact. Because these models do such a great job at converting fuel into heat, less heating fuel is needed for comfort, resulting in less emissions.
Central air conditioners are typically the most effective type of air conditioner for cooling entire homes.
A spot cooler is similar to an air conditioner. Your home air conditioner has 2 parts: The evaporator (cold side) is inside your house and the condenser (hot side) is outside. A spot cooler is a 1 piece (self-contained) air conditioner with the evaporator and the condenser both contained in the same cabinet. The evaporator discharges the cold air through nozzles on the unit and the hot condenser air is typically discharged through the opening on the top or back of the unit. A spot cooler can be
Regular and efficient duct cleaning can improve home air quality by removing dust, allergens, and other pollutants that accumulate in the ductwork and circulate throughout the house. It can also help improve the efficiency of HVAC systems and reduce energy costs.
Keeping your furnace cleaned and serviced regularly should result in fewer unexpected breakdowns and more reliable comfort each winter. To keep your home warm and cozy, be sure to inspect and change your furnace filter every 1-3 months (or, per the manufacturer’s recommendations) and stay observant to changes in how it sounds, smells and operates. While performing some DIY maintenance yourself might be convenient and even save you a few bucks, there is no substitute for having your system servic
The most common type of heat pump is the air-source heat pump, which transfers heat between your house and the outside air. Today's heat pump can reduce your electricity use for heating by approximately 65% compared to electric resistance heating such as furnaces and baseboard heaters. High-efficiency heat pumps also dehumidify better than standard central air conditioners, resulting in less energy usage.
Ductless, mini-split-system heat pumps make good retrofit add-ons to houses with "non-ducted" heating systems, such as hydronic (hot water heat), radiant panels, and space heaters (wood, kerosene, propane). They can also be a good choice for room additions where extending or installing distribution ductwork is not feasible, and for very efficient new homes that require only a small space conditioning system.
We specialize in ductless mini split system installation and repair services. These systems are an excellent alternative to traditional HVAC systems and offer energy-efficient heating and cooling solutions for your home or business.
